Booking Terms & Conditions

Please take a moment to carefully review the following terms and conditions before confirming your tour with Dia Lanka Travels. These guidelines contain important details about your booking process, payment requirements, cancellation policies, limitations of liability, and other essential information to ensure a smooth and transparent travel experience.

Booking Confirmation

  • Your tour booking will be confirmed once the required advance payment is made based on the final itinerary provided by Dia Lanka Travels.

Advance Payment

  • An advance of 20% – 50% of the total package is required (depending on on the season and travel date).

  • After the payment is credited to our company account, you will receive the tour confirmation voucher and payment receipt within 07 working days.

What We Do After Payment

  • Upon receipt of your payment, all necessary arrangements—including hotel reservations, transportation, and activity bookings will be completed.

Balance Payment

  • The remaining balance must be paid in cash to our representative at the airport upon arrival.

If you choose to pay Balance Payment via bank transfer

  • Customers must bear all associated bank charges for international or local transfers.

General Cancellations

  • To cancel your booking, you must notify your Tour Consultant.

Refund Eligibility

  • More than 30 days before tour start: Eligible for a 80% refund of the total tour fee.

  • Within 30 days of tour start: No refund will be provided.

  • No-shows: No refund will be issued.

Advance Payment

  • The advance paid is non-refundable as it covers Hotel cancellation fees, Documentation costs & Service charges.

Rescheduling

  • Your advance can be reused for a future travel date. Please note that Package prices may change when rescheduling due to seasonal rates and availability.

Early Checkouts

  • Refunds are not provided for early departures from the tour.

Refund Processing

  • Please allow up to 14 working days for refunds to be processed.

Before Arrival

  • Any changes made after confirming the package and paying the advance may affect the total tour cost.

  • This includes changes to:

    • Travel dates

    • Number of guests

    • Hotels

    • Duration of stay

    • Sightseeing activities

    • Transportation options

Hotel Policy

  • Dia Lanka Travels guarantees the hotels agreed upon during booking. Guests are advised to review hotel details before confirming.
  • Important: Once a hotel is confirmed, it cannot be changed before or after arrival. If a guest insists on changing a hotel, We will try our best to arrange an alternative in the same category. Any cost difference must be paid by the guest.

Changes During the Tour

  • Any adjustments made during the tour (extra activities, hotel changes, added services) will require additional payments.
